About The Position

As a PHP Developer, you will build and maintain scalable web applications using modern PHP and MVC principles, ensuring clean, high-quality code and reliable performance. You’ll work across backend systems, databases, and deployment environments to support seamless functionality and user experience. This role offers strong ownership, hands-on impact across the development lifecycle, and the opportunity to work with modern tools and practices in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with PHP 8.X and strong object-oriented programming expertise
• Knowledge of MVC pattern
• Practical experience with MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with PHP version migrations
• Experience with CSS and Responsive Web Design (RWD)
• Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows operating systems
• Experience with Docker fundamentals including Docker environments and Dockerfiles
• Upper-intermediate English level

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of PHPDOC specifications and PSR standards
• Experience modifying Docker containers
• Knowledge of build scripts and Docker in CI/CD environments
• Experience with Jenkins
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions
• General experience with CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using PHP 8.X following object-oriented programming principles and MVC pattern
• Ensure code quality and maintainability by adhering to PHPDOC specifications and PSR standards
• Design, optimize, and maintain MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server databases
• Handle data migrations and PHP version upgrades
• Implement CSS and responsive web design principles for optimal user experience
• Create and maintain Docker environments for application deployment
• Test applications for functionality, security, and performance while resolving issues
