About The Position

Why this job matters We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in Nx monorepos, React/Next.js, and modern frontend engineering practices. In this role, you’ll work hands‑on across our shared platform and product teams to build scalable features, improve developer experience, and strengthen the architecture of our multi‑app ecosystem. You’ll contribute to technical standards, support key upgrades (Nx, React, Next.js), improve CI/CD performance, and help evolve our shared libraries, generators, and tooling—ensuring our applications remain secure, reliable, and high‑performing.What you’ll be doing

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Nx monorepos: module boundaries, affected targets, generators, task pipelines.
  • Advanced React/Next.js skills: SSR/SSG/ISR, routing, data-fetching, server components, React 19 migration awareness.
  • Solid experience with CI/CD (GitLab or GitHub Actions): caching, artifacts, pipelines-as-code.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, ESLint, Prettier, and general frontend tooling.
  • Experience with automated testing (Jest, Cypress/Playwright) across multiple layers.
  • Good understanding of web performance, observability, and debugging tools.
  • Working knowledge of security best practices for web apps and supply chain safety.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the evolution of the Nx monorepo architecture—module boundaries, dependency graph health, shared libraries, and generator blueprints.
  • Implement and promote coding standards: linting rules, TypeScript configs, testing patterns, and best‑practice conventions.
  • Collaborate on integration patterns with design systems, CMS/AEM, and shared backend services.
  • Work on analyzing and optimizing frontend apps for performance, seo, and accessibility.
  • Participate in major upgrades (React 19, Next.js 16+, Nx v22+) by implementing changes, validating migrations, and improving rollout safety.
  • Help break down legacy or monolithic areas into modular, testable components and support teams adopting microfrontends where relevant.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality features that align with architectural direction.
  • Implement and monitor performance optimisations like Analytics, SEO etc
  • Improve CI/CD reliability and speed using Nx features (affected builds, caching, task orchestration).
  • Contribute to the testing strategy across unit, integration, and e2e layers (Jest, Cypress/Playwright).
