About The Position

We are looking for a Full Stack .NET Developer who is passionate about driving the Energy Market to the next level! You will play a key role in supporting our Back Office with existing tools and building new ones that automate and improve daily processes. This role requires not just technical expertise but also strong business stakeholder management skills. You will work closely with business users, coach them around the applications, and collaborate with teams across the globe. .NET is a must-have skill. Java is not required upfront but you should have the willingness to learn Java as part of supporting Endur and trading-related applications, with guidance provided internally. Your future plans Support and further develop our internal confirmations and settlement solutions used across sites and collaborate with global teams in Germany and the UK Support the PCI system for the Chicago Back Office and develop interfaces to other internal systems Analyze Back Office processes and develop solutions to automate tasks for better maintainability Collaborate with colleagues from other IT teams to build sustainable interfaces to exchange data and enable E2E processing Act as a partner to the business — coaching users, helping them get the most out of the applications, and ensuring smooth daily operations

Requirements

  • University Degree preferably in Information Systems or Computer Science
  • Strong hands-on development experience in C#/.NET (full stack)
  • An appetite and willingness to learn Java to support Endur and trading systems
  • Solid experience in building and supporting applications with a business user focus
  • A passion for supporting the business and the ability to coach users and manage stakeholders effectively
  • Solution-oriented thinker who appreciates collaboration across departments and teams
  • Strong communicator, comfortable engaging with middle and higher management
  • Good self-organising skills, able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Open to travel at least once a year to Europe to strengthen collaboration within the team and with stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Endur as an ETRM system and JVS development
  • Understanding of the confirmations and settlement process for bilateral and exchange-traded products in the energy market
  • Prior exposure to trading systems with a desire to grow into a Subject Matter Expert role

Responsibilities
