Blueprint was founded by Bryan Johnson, who has the world’s best comprehensive biomarkers. He is quantitatively the healthiest person on the planet. Blueprint is methodically built on science. Bryan freely shares his protocol, learnings and data with everyone to use. Blueprint has also developed a family of nutritional products to make the benefits of the Blueprint protocol affordable and available to all. We’re a small, tightknit team working to clean up the global food supply, provide healthy food to everyone, and build Don’t Die into the most influential ideology in the world. We move quickly, work efficiently, and enjoy an environment defined by competence. We’re looking for a Mobile App Engineer who loves to build, experiment, and create from scratch. You’ll help design and launch the first generation of the Blueprint Mobile App experience bringing together data, design, and AI to help people better understand and optimize their health. This is an opportunity to join Blueprint at the ground level, working directly with product and design to craft something that’s both technically impressive and deeply meaningful.

  • Build, test, and ship the first version of the Blueprint Biomarkers App in React Native (Expo).
  • Write clean, maintainable TypeScript code that’s optimized for performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with product and design to develop features end-to-end — from API design to UI polish.
  • Integrate third-party and internal APIs, health data systems (e.g., HealthKit), and AI-driven experiences using LLMs and on-device intelligence.
  • Establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, and CI/CD in a new mobile stack.
  • Continuously improve app performance, security, and scalability.
  • 3+ years of experience building and shipping React Native apps (Expo or bare workflow).
  • Fluent in TypeScript, React, and modern React Native tooling (Redux Toolkit, Reanimated, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of API integration, concurrency, and async data flows in mobile environments.
  • Experience collaborating with design and backend teams on complex product surfaces.
  • Demonstrated passion for creating exceptional user experiences — fast, elegant, and data-driven.
  • Experience with HealthKit, CoreBluetooth, or wearable integrations.
  • Background in health tech, data visualization, or biometric systems.
  • Exposure to AI/LLM integration (OpenAI, LangChain, on-device inference).
  • Contributions to open-source or notable personal projects.
  • Experience with secure data handling and HIPAA-compliant architectures.
  • Equity
  • Health benefits
