About The Position

Seeking candidates with experience in a financial institution. In partnership with Enterprise Applications Analysts, Applications Validation Specialists and other stakeholders, ensures solutions are delivered to meet member needs and creates a best-in-class member experience. Responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet member needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field and 3 years development or comparable experience.
  • 3 years' experience in a financial institution technology role preferred.
  • Symitar Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes current business processes to look for opportunities to use Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to minimize manual labor required for common tasks.
  • Utilizes modern programming languages (i.e. Python, JavaScript, Ruby) to provide solutions and modifications on relevant projects, while also providing internal feedback on vendor platforms and tools.
  • Maintains data sharing capabilities between business systems via APIs using MuleSoft.
  • Builds and uses CI/CD processes, IT practices and full-stack methods and can test, debug, and code.
  • Assists in the process of designing, building, setting up, and scaling new and existing development tools and the relevant infrastructure necessary to operate them.
  • Addresses methods to automate and improve the development and release processes.
  • Tests and examines code written by others and analyzes results to ensure consistency with coding standards.
  • Identifies technical problems, develops, and deploys software updates and ‘fixes', within both the relevant systems and the infrastructure it runs on.
  • Works directly with Enterprise Applications Analysts, Applications Validation Specialists and other stakeholders to ensure that solutions delivered meet member needs.
  • Tracks KPI's to monitor the on-going performance of tools and validates return on investment (ROI).
  • Plans development projects and is involved in project management decisions, including timing, prioritization, and value of comparative impact.
  • Builds tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improves employee/member experience, along with reporting to display these results.
  • Performs root cause analysis on production systems and services for production errors.
  • Assists other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrates them to other members of the team.
  • Provides detailed specifications for proposed solutions including materials, workforce, and time necessary.
  • Works closely with IT professionals within the company to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently.
  • Actively participates in community relations efforts to contribute to the mission and visibility of Magnifi Financial.
