About The Position

MILVETS is currently seeking a full-time Software Engineer Mid-Level with an active SECRET clearance and CompTIASec+ Certification, who will be responsible for supporting USAF Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC) at Kirtland AFB, NM. Must have US Citizenship. The company will not sponsor work visas for this role. Tech Stack: Windows & Linux Git & Gitlab C++, C# Django Framework (Python, SQL, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS) Gitlab YAML pipeline for testing, release generation, and test environment deployment.

Requirements

Proficiency in C++ and Python.
Experience with Linux bash scripting and working in Linux environments.
Strong understanding of Git and version control workflows.
Experience troubleshooting applications and debugging issues.
Ability to write and maintain clear technical documentation.
1st year developer with a bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering, 3 years' experience with Associate, or minimum of 5 years in lieu of a degree.
CompTIA Sec+ or higher cyber security certification.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an Active United States Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
Must have US Citizenship.

Nice To Haves

Experience with C# and windows development.
Familiarity with web technologies (Django, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS).
Understanding CI/CD pipelines, particularly Gitlab YAML configuration.
Experience with SQL database design.

Contribute to technical documentation and best practices.
Help maintain and improve automated testing processes.
Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack.
Design, develop, document, test and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
Ensure software standards are met.
