About The Position
As a Software Engineer in the Medical Imaging department at Medpace, you will play a crucial role in the development of applications designed for the analysis and quantification of medical images, such as CT and MRI scans. This position is integral to our imaging services, which are rapidly expanding, and you will be working with advanced techniques including artificial intelligence and deep learning. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and developing image quantification applications, ensuring their integration into Medpace's image management system, and conducting unit testing to validate the software through the development process. You will also be involved in the review and execution of test scripts, adhering to the company's software development lifecycle processes, which are particularly stringent due to the highly regulated nature of drug development. In addition to technical development, you will be expected to communicate effectively with team members regarding project updates, development tools, and procedures. Providing end-user support will also be a key aspect of your role, which includes the setup, installation, and maintenance of the applications you release.
