About The Position

The Production Mapping Software Team plays a pivotal role in the software development of mapping solutions to support AV/ADAS at General Motors. This team is responsible for delivering integrated and tested software for various GM features, including Super Cruise and Adaptive Cruise Control . This role will be working on software for GM Production Mapping Software team . Areas of focus may include implementing, testing, and/or integration embedded or test software.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program and in the process of obtaining a Bachelors or Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Able to work fulltime , 40 hours per week.
• C++ or Python software skills.

Nice To Haves

• Embedded software experience/knowledge
• Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship.
• Graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, integrate and test robust embedded software solutions for ADAS systems.
• Write and maintain code in C++ or Python
• Analyze and improve reliability and efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and system testing.
