Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++), or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Nice To Haves

Experience with hardware development or automated fleet management.

Responsibilities

Work directly with the hardware development teams whose work will power the next chapters of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) at Google.
Manage the qualification framework that ensures the new machines work with the control plane software that manages the fleet.
Work with partner teams to ensure that new machine types are onboarded to our qualification framework.
Identify areas where the process or the tooling supporting this can be improved.
Troubleshoot new machine types that do not always work the way you expect.
Leverage technical skills, communication, and a sense of ownership to drive business impact in this role.
