About The Position

Celonis is seeking a software engineer (machine learning) to join the newly formed Celonis AI Group (CeloAI). This team is dedicated to developing advanced AI/ML technologies for Celonis products, particularly the Execution Management System (EMS). The role involves designing and developing product features and customer solutions based on AI/ML approaches, collaborating with various teams to build scalable and high-quality solutions. The position is based in New York, NY, with remote options available across the US.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science or related fields.
• Master's degree and PhD degree are a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deeply understand the business needs of Celonis customers and formulate them into concrete technical problems, often AI related.
• Determine which AI/ML approach is suited for the problem.
• Design and develop scalable and high-quality AI/ML models or intelligent approaches.
• Design and implement scalable and robust data collection mechanisms.
• Design and implement principled evaluation mechanisms.
• Design and build robust and low latency infrastructure to serve the AI/ML models.
• Design and develop intelligent techniques to understand, represent, and integrate enterprise operational data.
• Design and build APIs and infrastructure to serve data at scale and with low latency.
• Design and implement intelligent ways to ensure freshness and accuracy of data across thousands of enterprise customers.
