About The Position

The Software Engineer III at Spring Venture Group is responsible for the design, development, and testing of complex software systems that support the organization's goals. This role involves mentoring team members, leading projects, and ensuring the quality of solutions through code reviews. The position also focuses on integrating Generative AI into business processes and developing machine learning operations to enhance productivity and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 4 years of experience as a software engineer or a minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering.
• 1-2 years experience with AI, preferred.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Generative AI and Prompt Engineering.
• Knowledge of Fine Tuning, RAG, and Model Evaluation.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, RDS, S3, Bedrock, and Agents.
• Proficient in SQL and Software Design.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring to members of the software development team.
• Provide code reviews and feedback to team members' solutions to ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead complex projects with minimal oversight.
• Guide product direction and development using business knowledge.
• Communicate pertinent information accurately.
• Solve problems and make decisions related to software development responsibilities.
• Design, develop, test, and document software systems in compliance with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
• Work effectively as a team member with other management members.
• Participate in Agile development ceremonies.
• Continuously evaluate current systems and processes and suggest improvements.
• Integrate Generative AI into new and existing business processes.
• Assist in the creation and refinement of reference architectures.
• Design and implement new Generative AI architectures within larger systems.
• Stay up to date with Generative AI tools and techniques.
• Design, develop, and implement ML/AIOps with a focus on automation.
• Design and execute A/B tests for data-driven decision making.
• Curate training data for model fine-tuning.
• Fine-tune models as needed.
• Promote GenAI concepts and techniques across technology and the organization.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines for AI/ML applications.
