About The Position
As a Software Engineer, Level 1 you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. You will work individually or as part of a team, reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documenting test results. You will also resolve software problem reports and utilize software development and design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Additionally, you will provide specific input to the software components of system design, including hardware/software tradeoffs, software reuse, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
