Parsons is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Software Engineer to manage a diverse team of software professionals, including a Software Architect, multiple types of software development engineers (UI/UX, Multi-Tier, Cloud, DevOps, Data Feed). Requirements

• Minimum ten years of experience in software development and team management.
• Strong background in agile methodologies and Scrum Master experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with large cloud capability deployments.
• Atlassian, Jira, Confluence experience.
• Active TS/SCI w/Poly.

Nice To Haves

• AWS certifications.
• NC3 mission experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements documentation to deployment, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and meet the highest quality standards.
• Interact regularly with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translating them into actionable tasks for the team.
• Maintain JIRA boards to provide daily updates on progress, facilitating agile ceremonies, and ensuring that the team adheres to best practices in software development and DevOps.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Manage complex projects and drive continuous improvement.
