As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Asset Management Group organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position. As a Software Engineer Lead, you will be part of an Agile engineering team where you will be responsible for technical design and development within our Asset Management line of business. Additionally, you will work with our testers to address bugs or defects and propose & design solutions. This position would require fluidity and flexibility, as this is not a role with specific guidelines where you will perform the same tasks on a day to day basis. As a Software Engineer Sr, you will also be responsible for serving as a mentor for other members of the team. Due to the nature of this position we are seeking passionate Software Engineers.

  • Lead the design, development, and execution of automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver for UI testing across web applications.
  • Drive API testing initiatives using Postman, including automation of test suites and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards, test strategies, and release criteria for enterprise-grade software.
  • Monitor test coverage, performance, and reliability metrics to ensure high-quality releases and rapid feedback loops.
  • Create and lead the technical design and development of software solutions.
  • Propose & design software solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Prepare technical and procedural documentation required.
  • Facilitate complex problem resolution.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Review coding, testing, and documentation of software.
  • Apply modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
  • 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
  • University / college degree or a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience.
  • Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions.
  • Ability to assess and effectively manage all of the risks associated with business objectives and activities.
