This position can be filled as a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate. We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Commercial Lines IT team. Our ideal candidate will have experience with modern web and enterprise technologies, cloud services, & microservices architectures. Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or related discipline; or equivalent related work experience. Bachelor Degree preferred.
  • 2 or more years of related work experience.
  • Demonstrated aptitude in one or more programming languages and software development concepts.
  • Ability to critically evaluate multiple options to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Values continuous learning and personal development.
  • Enjoys working in a team focused and collaborative environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Java and Vue preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in the design, development, and implementation of new and existing programs or solutions.
  • Demonstrate ownership over the quality of assigned tasks, preparing test scripts and conducting tests on both new and existing solutions.
  • Engage in team delivery functions such as design reviews, code reviews, and scrum meetings.
