The Software Engineer works with a team of engineers of varying levels to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and programs. The SE will be expected to work independently when needed to solve moderately complex problems. The Software Engineer reports to a Software Engineering Manager in the Technology department. The essential duties for this role include, but are not limited to: Works on moderately sized projects with oversight. Accurately communicates pertinent information, and ensures information in the organization agile project tracking tool accurately represents work required to complete project and task statuses remain up to date. Solves problems and makes decisions on a daily basis relative to Software development responsibilities. Works IT DevOps in coordination of Tier 3 support for resolving production issues. Design, Develop, Test software system to meet business needs in compliance with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization. Work effectively as a team member with other members of management. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Opportunity to mentor other developers.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and 2+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer OR a minimum of 4+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer.
  • Proficiency in Java, Javascript, Python, Kotlin, and SQL.
  • Experience using Git and GitHub.
  • Experience with Spring Boot and AWS is highly preferred.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
