About The Position
SAIC is seeking rising juniors or seniors to join the Ground-Based Radar Maintenance and Sustainment Services (GMASS) for the summer of 2026, GMASS has Software Engineering internship positions available. These interns will be performing software support using C++ or Linux to resolve coding errors, assist in developing and updating code. Requirements
- Pursuit of BS in a STEM related degree field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
- Basic understanding of C++ and/or Linux
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Must be willing and able to obtain a Secret security clearance NOTE: Federal law requires US citizenship to obtain a clearance

- Web development (Jascript, html) and Database (SQL)
- System data structures and algorithms (sorting, linked lists, arrays, trees)

Responsibilities
- Performs Software Engineering activities including requirements definition, system analysis, scripting to automate processes, and design, and systems integration.
- Work side-by-side with subject matter experts to review and resolve coding errors and develop new code
- Review and assess requirements, diagrams, and documents to develop specifications
- Develop modeling and simulation using MATLAB and STK
- Investigates anomalies and supports multidisciplinary teams for resolution
