About The Position

As an intern at Alan, you will join a team of talented, committed, and passionate Engineers, with a lot of product interactions. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects quickly, whilst being mentored by talented senior engineers. Our engineering team builds the infrastructure, interfaces, and applications to provide first-class service to our members, health professionals, and even ourselves. We move fast, with a lot of ownership, and are proud to tackle big problems. Our process is very simple: those who make product decisions are the same ones who build them. Our tech stack includes Python/Flask, React/Redux, React Native, and PostgreSQL.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in your last year of a Master's degree.
• Looking for a 6-month end-of-studies internship.
• Prior internship or side-projects coding experience.
• Experience deploying frontend and backend code to production.
• Willingness to work in Python/JavaScript (experience not required).
• Passionate about building products.
• Self-starting and humble.
• Collaborative and enthusiastic about teamwork and learning.
• Fluent in English.

Nice To Haves
