About The Position

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and technically curious Software Engineer Intern to join the PdL Shared Software (SSW) team. In this role, the intern will contribute to building scalable, high‑quality software solutions that support foundational platform capabilities across PdL. Working alongside experienced engineers, the intern will help design, develop, and troubleshoot code, participate in agile ceremonies, and gain hands‑on experience with modern development practices. Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Foundational knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript).
Understanding of basic data structures, algorithms, and object‑oriented programming concepts.
Ability to work collaboratively, ask thoughtful questions, and proactively seek feedback.
Strong problem‑solving abilities and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of software components, internal tools, and shared services used across PdL.
Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code under the guidance of senior engineers.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile ceremonies.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and technical debt.
Contribute to documentation, onboarding guides, and engineering best practices.
Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to understand requirements and deliver features that support multiple product teams.
