Software Engineer - Intern
About The Position
The Transportation Solution Division within the Leidos Civil group is seeking a Systems, Integration and Software Engineer Intern who will be a member of a dynamic team working on the one of several Air Traffic Management programs including En-Route Automation Modernization (ERAM), the heart of the Next Generation Air Transportation System and the pulse of the National Airspace System, providing the foundation for NexGen functions Primary Responsibilities: Tasks will include assistance with system architecture, system concept development, requirements engineering, operational and decision analysis, systems definition, system risk management, and requirements baseline management. The candidate will also support the development of design and coding of the program software, including Object Oriented programming concepts, XML, Javascript, C, C++, Java and Python.
Requirements
- Candidates must be enrolled in a degree program in a relevant discipline; for example, engineering, computer science.
- Ability to obtain a public trust security clearance
- US Citizenship required
- Exposure to system engineering, software engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning.
