Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2026 Software Engineering Intern. In this role you will be building and maintaining software pipelines, as well as debugging and improving application software. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge that allows them to assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software pipelines, debug, test, and troubleshoot application software to identify and resolve issues, write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code. This position is located in Fort Worth. Must be a US Citizen; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, C#, C)
  • Familiarity with software development fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, version control)
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Git or other version control systems
  • Basic understanding of software pipelines, CI/CD, or data workflows
  • Familiarity with debugging tools and testing frameworks
  • Experience with Linux or command-line environments
