We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer Intern to join our Consumer Web Connections team. As an intern, you will work closely with our experienced development team to build, maintain, and enhance web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both frontend and backend development, contributing to real-world projects while honing your coding skills. Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. (Grad date of December 2026 and June 2027)
Foundational knowledge and/or coursework experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with modern JavaScript libraries/frameworks, specifically React (even if through personal projects or coursework).
Basic understanding of backend technologies such as Node/Deno/Bun.
Understanding of responsive design principles.
Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of TypeScript.
Understanding of API techniques such as REST and GraphQL.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
Knowledge and/or open curiosity to explore AI Coding tools as part of the development life cycle.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior developers and designers to translate visual concepts and wireframes into functional web components.
Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
Assist in the development and maintenance of user interfaces using React.js.
Participate in backend development using Node.js (Next.js).
Work with infrastructure via AWS, CircleCI, and k8s.
Debug, test, and troubleshoot issues across the stack.
Collaborate on version control using Git and GitHub.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Assist in improving user experience by implementing responsive design techniques.
Stay updated on new technologies and best practices.
