About The Position

Responsibilities: Collaborate on the specification, design, implementation, deployment, and testing of software applications. Recommend and implement processes following industry best practices for developing, testing, and deploying software. Prepare and maintain design and specification documentation. Serve as a technical contact for internal customers. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles. Understand. Create. Simplify. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Current student pursuing a degree in computer science or equivalent with at least one year of technical coursework completed Ability to work part time during the school year and full time during the summer Programming experience in C#, Java or equivalent Object Oriented programming language Experience programming in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Cloud Environments (AWS, Azure, GCS), or Functional Programming is a plus Experience with design or UI/UX is a plus Collaborates in a team environment Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Excellent writing, documentation, and speaking skills Background check results satisfactory to SEL Negative drug test result(s) Technologies We Use: C#, JavaScript, Typescript, React Postgres, Redis, Message Brokering Git, Docker, Kubernetes Location Information This position is located in Charlotte, NC, a vibrant and bustling metropolis located in the heart of North Carolina. Pay Range Data ($19.50 - $32.50 per hour) Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role (the work you would be doing) and your year in school (when you plan to graduate). Requirements
