The Platform Services Division is responsible for the development and testing of SAS’s core product functionality. Our products are consumed by all other solutions here at SAS as components of their applications. We are also responsible for onboarding and packaging 3rd party libraries and incorporating them into our software. As an intern, you might:

Requirements

  • Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, not graduating prior to December 2026.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD principles, software programming languages, and the software development lifecycle
  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Leadership abilities. Your past experiences demonstrate you’ll take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty.
  • You’re interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology.

Nice To Haves

  • Java, Jenkins, git or other source management tools, Jira or another agile tool.
  • Problem solving in team environment with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Product Management to interpret and design features and new requirements.
  • Break down work tasks into manageable pieces and create work tickets that can be used to prioritize your work.
  • Participate in the monthly planning process and daily scrum meetings and provide feedback on your work.
  • Contribute towards meaningful code implementation which includes development, testing and incorporation into our CI/CD pipeline.
