About The Position

We are seeking an engineer to join the Intelligent System Experience team! You will collaborate with various cross-functional teams, including engineering, data engineering, product, design, and QA, to enhance the platform that facilitates ChatGPT integration at Apple. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly evolving priorities and possess a genuine passion for Apple’s users! You will lead planning and implementation of ChatGPT platform features. That means that you will: - Collaborate with the engineering management, teammates, product, design, data engineering, QE and cross-functional partners to deliver improvements for the ChatGPT platform at Apple. - Lead software development work by writing code, answering questions and doing code reviews. - Provide clear, timely and objective communication. - Proactively identify issues and solutions, and marshal resources necessary to attack and resolve any issues related to your area of ownership.

Requirements

  • Excellent coding skills in any programming language and strong understanding of data structures.
  • Knowledge of technical system architecture and systems design tradeoffs.
  • Strong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence.
  • Client side code development experience.

Nice To Haves

  • iOS/MacOS development experience.
  • Experience with LLM platform work.
