About The Position

The ITS Information Technology Services Department is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer, Integrations to be a team member, contributor, and leader.

Requirements

Understanding of Microsoft Azure Logic Apps
Experience using .net C#
Experience writing SQL Queries
Experience working in the 3rd Party Logistics industry
Understanding of the US Truckload industry or
Understanding of the Drayage industry or
Understanding of Warehousing and Distribution
Experience as a business analyst, product manager, or project manager
Experience communicating with business users
Experience documenting processes, workflows, technical diagrams
Takes initiative to solve problems.
Experience and willingness to work off hours to support the business
Business Information Systems Degree or Computer Science Degree
Or 2+ Years professional experience

Nice To Haves

Understanding and Experience in API development
Understanding and experience with EDI X12 formats including 204s, 990s, 214s, 210s, 940s, 945s, 943s and/or 944s
Understanding and Experience in Azure DevOps, IaC, Security, SOC2
Understanding and Experience using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and/or Databricks
Understanding of AI concepts
Experience communicating with users, leaders, and customers
Experience leading and mentoring offshore resources
Experience working with Finance Teams

Responsibilities

Makes recommendations for business process solutions.
Exercises some judgment with consideration of existing system configuration, business processes, defined policies and procedures to determine appropriate course of action and solutions.
Basic technical/development abilities in support of program debugging and troubleshooting, understands self-development activities and seeks increased responsibilities.
With minimal supervision, performs the design and develop well structured, optimized, secure and tested integration code. Modify, review, test, document and implement new and/or enhanced information systems.
Gathers information from clients regarding business problems. Analyzes client information and defines business requirements. Works with clients to prepare integration software design specifications.
Project management including coordination of external resources to meet partner obligations.
Identify and communicate ideas to streamline or improve integration processes and procedures.
Identify and communicate project risks that may impact operations.
collaborate with other engineers and ensure engineering best practices are followed in integration software development.
