Job Summary This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and tools; enabling high-quality software delivery through scalable automation. Collaborates with development teams to define testing strategies and serve as a technical resource for best practices using a combination of technical proficiencies, organizational aptitude and interpersonal skills, as well as learning and progressing with the evolving technology. This role applies modern testing methodologies, including AI‑assisted tools and techniques, to improve test coverage, efficiency, reliability, and release confidence. The position emphasizes sound engineering judgment, responsible use of AI, and continuous learning as technology and practices evolve.

Requirements

  • Experience with one of the following programming languages - Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Go, C++
  • Experience using AI tools (Copilot, Claude Code)
  • Experience with build/packing tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, Gradle, Maven
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and practices
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong quality ethic and test-first attitude
  • Great communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
  • Understanding project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.
  • Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, Desktop, and Web, and building test scenarios and acceptance tests.
  • Generating detailed bug reports
  • Handling technical communications and understanding the customers' systems.
  • Analyzing software systems and coordinating with other teams to enhance the overall design.
  • Continuously evaluate and evolve test tools, methodologies, and automation practices, including AI-assisted techniques, to expand coverage, reduce regressions, and improve quality.
  • Managing the final quality on production release.
  • Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the company
  • Reviews code written by others to determine if the code meets company, departmental, and team standards.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development and testing tools to accelerate effective test creation, code analysis, and defect identification.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging AI-driven automation capabilities to enhance test efficiency and product quality.
  • Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
