About The Position

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical professional passionate about ensuring the quality and performance of software applications. As a Software Engineer in Test I, you’ll collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA engineers to design, implement, and maintain automated test solutions. You’ll contribute to improving the testing framework, enhancing system reliability, and ensuring seamless product functionality. This fully remote position allows you to work from home while being part of a dynamic and technology-driven team committed to innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in software test automation, object-oriented development, and SQL-based testing.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL) and writing queries or stored procedures.
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver, APIs, and web service testing (REST, SOAP).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, VB.Net, or ASP.Net.
  • Familiarity with XML, JSON, XSLT, HTTP, and software design patterns.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • U.S. work eligibility required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications and automated test tools.
  • Execute automation tasks and troubleshoot software applications with minimal supervision.
  • Perform white-box testing and contribute to improving test coverage and software reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet product requirements.
  • Monitor automated test processes, investigate issues, and ensure timely remediation.
  • Document procedures, standards, and best practices for test automation frameworks.
