  • Senior developer who has multi-disciplinary skills to include task leadership, interactions at all levels of technical and management, process skills, the ability to create new procedures and documents and a proven desire to be successful in an engineering environment within the federal sector.
  • Knowledge of SOA design and hybrid cloud computing solutions and best practices would be a plus.
  • Mentors others.
  • Assisting with updating documentation to reflect changes to the system, to include SOPs and knowledge modules.
  • Proactively and reactively identifying and resolving systemic problems.
  • Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs of similar size and scope.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Excellent planning Skills.
  • JAVA/C++/SQL code development practices.
  • System Performance Assessment/ System Performance Enhancement Skills.
  • Tools expertise with Magic’s Cameo Systems Modeler.
  • Confluence.
  • JIRA.
  • SharePoint.
  • Microsoft products to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Interacts well with all members of a team and all levels of expertise across the team.
  • The ability to institute and follow processes and procedures to provide consistent development practices across the team.
  • Knowledge of Agile processes to assist the team in becoming more modular and efficient in code development and enhance the maintainability of the code being developed.
  • The team uses daily stand-ups and traditional scrum methods to make sure of robust communications within the team and cohesive development.
  • Ability to mentor and grow the knowledge base of the team.
