Position: Software Engineer III Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066 Duties: Review and understand project requirements; gather needed information (for example, design documents, product requirements, wire frames); write and develop code; identify areas of opportunity; interpret information and identifying a solution; ensure solution is sustainable across implementation and use; and ensure on-time delivery and hand-offs. Work on new and existing systems by responding to user questions, concerns, and issues (for example, technical feasibility); research and identify needed solutions; provide guidance regarding implications of new and enhanced systems; and direct users to appropriate contacts for issues outside of own domain. Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information (for example, issue, impact, criticality); perform root cause analysis to reduce future issues; engage support teams when needed; develop solutions; drive the development of an action plan; perform actions as designated in the plan; and complete online documentation. Build well performing sophisticated web applications and user-facing features. Leverage open-source frameworks such as ReactJS, Nodejs and Bootstrap to build front-end applications that are reusable and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of object-oriented JavaScript. Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability. Analyze, design and modify software projects and/or products incorporating HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX as well as other Web 2.0 techniques. Develop projects under browse and guide the team whenever required. Participate in daily stand-up meetings with the engineering team and update progress to business team in weekly meeting. Review PR’s providing suggestions to the team. Provide support during release and perform validations in order to enhance members experience. Provide solutions for coding errors by collaborating with other developers to review coding algorithms. Develop unit testing plans to test code. Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field.
