About The Position

Perform moderately difficult research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. Work on individual pieces of work and solve problems including the design of the program flow of individual pieces of code, effective coding, and unit testing. Develop and maintain web applications using .NET, C#, JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, Angular and AWS cloud technologies. Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements. Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity. Work closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs. Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews. Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders. Resolve technical issues as necessary. Keep abreast of new technology developments. Complete bug fixes. Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required.
  • 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.
  • Also required is: 3 years of experience utilizing Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Typescript to perform development and maintenance work on the web application’s User Interface; utilizing .NET and C# to perform development and maintenance work on the web application’s Back-end systems which include development of high performing and secure API and the web application server code; using Jenkins CI/CD tools, creating continuous deploy pipelines and running jobs; using cloud technologies including AWS Fargate, AWS CloudFormation, AWS Elastic Container Services; and utilizing telemetry/instrumentation tools including Splunk & Datadog.
