Role summary: As a Software Engineer III, you will lead the design and development of scalable software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management and user experience. You will troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective resolutions to enhance system performance. This role involves managing projects from requirements gathering through delivery, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to security standards. You will also provide technical guidance to peers, support continuous integration and deployment processes, and contribute to ongoing improvements that drive business value and operational excellence. About the team: The Data Science team applies advanced analytical and modeling techniques to address complex business challenges. Utilizing tools such as Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks, the team focuses on model assessment, validation, and deployment. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, they translate requirements into actionable insights and data-driven solutions. Emphasizing rigorous statistical methods and clear data visualization, the team ensures effective communication of findings. Requirements

Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and software design principles.
Strong technical acumen with experience in platform design, API development, and component services.
Proficiency in iterative and incremental development methodologies and continuous integration/deployment practices.
Ability to conduct root cause analysis, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement sustainable solutions.
Experience with debugging, dev testing, and documentation-based coding standards.
Familiarity with emerging technologies including generative artificial intelligence.
Demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and support project delivery milestones.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define high-level designs and translate requirements into technical solutions.
Develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-quality code following coding standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve production and business issues through root cause analysis and effective problem-solving.
Lead small engineering groups by providing guidance, documentation, and support to ensure timely project delivery.
Implement automation scripts and telemetry features to enhance continuous integration and deployment processes.
Monitor application performance, conduct maintenance, and evaluate change requests for sustainable solutions.
Support users by addressing technical inquiries and recommending appropriate implementation strategies.
