About The Position

What you'll do... Your Opportunity Collaborate with managers and architects to deliver robust, large-scale, end-to-end features and applications. Your Responsibilities As a Software Engineer (Back End), you will be accountable for coding, prompting, debugging, and unit testing. You will develop high-performance, scalable solutions that support millions of Walmart International customers across supply chain management and customer experience domains. We seek engineers who are intellectually curious, passionate about technology, and motivated to deepen their domain expertise.

Requirements

  • Advanced expertise in Java and J2EE technologies
  • Proficiency with JavaScript and ReactJS
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful web services
  • In-depth understanding of design patterns
  • Proven track record in API development
  • Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms
  • Hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge of distributed and scalable systems
  • Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and Mac operating environments
  • Strong collaborator focused on achieving results
  • Required skills: Java, J2EE, Spring, Kafka, Cassandra, Solr
  • Ability to rapidly adapt to and work with AI technologies
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in e-commerce and retail is highly desirable
  • Background in order or fulfillment management systems is a valuable asset
  • Experience supporting and maintaining large-scale production systems
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area
