About The Position

We are seeking a talented and passionate Software Engineer III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a large project environment with a strong development background in .Net/C# along with experience in MSSQL, Cosmos DB, Kafka, Shell Programming, Cloud Implementation architecture and a proven track record of delivering high-quality scalable software applications. You will collaborate with our product team, architects, and quality assurance teams to design, develop and enhance a reliable and easy-to-maintain infrastructure. You’ll partner and collaborate on product development with business stakeholders and cross functional teams. You’ll troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information for example, issues, impact, criticality, and possible root cause. About Team: Our team ensures seamless access to medications and pharmaceutical services while leveraging state-of-the-art technologies to streamline processes and enhance customer experience. From prescription management to immunization scheduling, our pharmacies are equipped to cater to every aspect of our customers’ healthcare needs.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Experience in .Net/C#, SQL & NoSQL DB, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience in building data communication between back-end systems using Kafka
  • Experience with public cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Experience with telemetry and observability frameworks including Prometheus, Grafana, OpenObserve and ELK.
  • Experience with unit and performance testing of applications to increase resilience using technologies including Jenkins, MSTest, NUnit and JMeter.
  • Understanding of commercial business strategy and goals to solve complex problems with high impact.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement core features to the Walmart Pharmacy Ecosystem.
  • Build components, libraries and services using .Net/C#, Entity Framework and WCF.
  • Influence and collaborate with engineering leaders, product managers, design leads and the business to develop a unified approach to engineering.
  • Understand complex architecture and add any enhancements to the existing solutions.
  • Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
  • Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
