As a Senior Software Engineer on the SmartDesk team, you'll be at the forefront of building an AI-powered front desk assistant that transforms how wellness businesses communicate and operate.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of Senior-level experience building full-stack features for SaaS products
  • Proven track record of developing user-facing web applications and supporting APIs
  • Expertise in designing and shipping AI-powered features in production environments
  • Strong experience with distributed systems, third-party integrations, and messaging platforms
  • Proficiency in making architectural decisions that balance technical debt, innovation, and business needs
  • Deep understanding of engineering fundamentals, including testing, observability, and maintainability
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and rapidly learning emerging technologies

Responsibilities

  • Crafting end-to-end AI-powered experiences that seamlessly connect wellness businesses with their clients
  • Designing and implementing robust web and messaging services that power conversational and workflow automation
  • Integrating large language models (LLMs) and generative AI frameworks with a laser focus on safety, reliability, and user trust
  • Collaborating closely with product, design, and applied AI teams to transform complex challenges into intuitive solutions
