About The Position

Join us as a Software Engineer where you will design and develop software for complex satellite and rocket test and measurement systems utilizing Common Off the Shelf (COTS) and custom software tools as well as, perform software engineering best practices to include: design, development, and software/hardware integration. Although this position does support some teleworking; the selected candidate will need to be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Sunnyvale CA, and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.

Requirements

• Programming experience in one or more of the following: C/C++, Python
• 5+ years professional experience; 3+ years with Masters degree.
• Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a Secret government security clearance.

• Demonstrated usage of programming languages in a software engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Program in languages such as C, C++, Python etc.
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug with NetAcquire Test Equipment and National Instruments (NI) automated test equipment.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP).
• Participate in Configuration Management/Configuration Control efforts.
• Participate in the team's daily standups, testing, and demos.
• Develop unit tests and test procedures to assist in maintaining code coverage.
• Work in a dynamic team environment.
