About The Position

As a member of the Payment Differentiation Squad, your day might look like: Driving Innovation: Experimenting with and launching ML-powered payment features in collaboration with our AI team and data scientists. Advancing Patient Affordability: Partnering with leading organizations like Plaid to improve patient access to affordable healthcare. Engineering for Scale: Enhancing our checkout flow, which handles tens of millions of patients annually and processes billions of dollars in payments. Inspiring and Leading Others: Actively contributing to team chartering, managing technical projects, and mentoring peer engineers to take ownership of their own projects. Raising the Technical Bar: Taking creative initiative, such as by expanding our Cursor Rules collection or developing new interview questions.

Requirements

  • Strong technical leadership with a track record of driving measurable impact across the stack.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in independent, hands-on coding and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A strong commitment to engineering best practices.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Experience with modern languages and frameworks such as React, Typescript, Python/Django.

Nice To Haves

  • 4-6 years of experience preferred, but not required.
  • Passion for making healthcare simpler, fairer, and more transparent for patients.

  • Salary/Hourly Rate Range: $185,000 - $215,000.
