About The Position

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Commerce Payments, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

Requirements

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Hands-on experience in developing applications using any cloud technologies, to create and manage cloud-based applications.
• Good understanding of batch-based and real time data processing technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python and database querying languages.
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience in Terraform (IAC) to provision and manage cloud resources efficiently.
• Exposure to cloud technologies AWS is preferred.

Responsibilities
