As a Full Stack Engineer at Walmart, you will play a key role within our engineering projects. You will provide technical and code creation, documentation, and support to ensure successful project delivery and business alignment. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing projects of varying complexity, and troubleshooting production issues to drive continuous improvement.

  • Respond to user questions and concerns regarding technical feasibility, implementation strategies, and system enhancements; research and identify solutions; and direct users to appropriate contacts as needed.
  • Manage small to large-scale complex projects by translating requirements into technical solutions, researching alternatives, developing code, conducting unit testing, and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with product management, project management, business, and user experience teams during the discovery phase to develop high-level designs.
  • Troubleshoot business and production issues by performing root cause analysis, developing action plans, and documenting solutions.
  • Ensure solutions are sustainable, scalable, and add value to the business.
  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Building scalable, high-performance, responsive applications using React.js, Redux.js, and TypeScript.
  • Translating Figma UX designs and wireframes into user interfaces.
  • Identifying and resolving front-end performance issues to optimize loading times.
  • Utilizing version control systems (Git) for codebase management.
  • Conducting front-end testing (unit, end-to-end, regression) using Jest, Testing Library, and R2.
  • Using Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence) for task tracking and team communication.
  • Monitoring app performance and user behavior with Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics.
  • Configuring CI/CD pipelines using Looper powered by Jenkins.
  • Integrating code repositories and automating builds with Looper.
  • Implementing lazy loading techniques for non-critical content.
  • Integrating third-party APIs and managing API requests/responses.
  • Knowledge of Java applications using the Spring framework.
  • Experience with containers, Kubernetes deployment, and end-to-end testing best practices.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
