About The Position

We're looking for a Software Engineer III - Frontend to join International Technology. This hands-on role requires exceptional coding skills, a passion for technology and engineering excellence. You'll spend your days translating requirements into solutions, writing code, collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing us with the insights necessary to think beyond the status quo. About Team: Our team collaborates with Walmart International, which has over 5,900 retail units operating outside of the United States under 55 banners in 26 countries including Africa, Argentina, Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Japan, and Mexico, to name a few. What you'll do: Build reusable React components with modular CSS, manage data on the client with Redux, use react query, and GraphQL. Refactor or improve existing code. We constantly find ways to improve all of our JavaScript code, and you are all aboard. Work closely with our product, design, and UX teams to create amazing and intuitive experiences that make it effortless to connect different apps together. Demonstrate technical expertise in solving challenging programming and design problems Ship to hundreds of thousands of users every day while having lots of autonomy in terms of code and feature ownership. Share what you know and learn either one-on-one or with lightning talks to the group. Requirements

  • Over 3+ years of professional experience as a hands-on Frontend Developer
  • Expert in developing Web Applications with React and related technologies
  • Knowledge and practical experience with Storybook component library for efficient UI development and documentation.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, React, Next.js, and TypeScript
  • Experience in styling frameworks, including SCSS and CSS, for responsive design
  • Experience working with GraphQL services and RESTful APIs
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a highly analytical mindset
  • Effective team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret, follow, and implement technical plans and design requirements
  • Knowledgeable in CI/CD processes, version control, and agile workflows
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and accessibility best practices
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Option 2: 4 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
