About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Lead in Automation Testing, Functional Testing, and Agile Methodologies to drive our testing initiatives to the next level. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in advanced automation frameworks, functional testing strategies, and Agile practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This role requires strong leadership, innovative thinking, and a passion for leveraging cutting-edge testing technologies. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 5+ years in automation testing leadership roles.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing advanced automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
  • Strong knowledge of functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing methodologies.
  • Extensive experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies and tools (Azure DevOps, Rally, Service Now).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and other DevOps tools.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven track record of driving automation maturity and implementing innovative testing solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AI/ML-based testing tools and approaches is a plus.
  • ISTQB Certified Tester
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile certifications
  • Selenium/WebDriver certifications
  • Any relevant certifications in AI/ML or Automation Tools

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all testing deliverables, coordinate testing activities across multiple projects and applications to ensure seamless execution, effective communication, and alignment with project objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end testing lifecycle for projects, fostering strong stakeholder collaboration and driving strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Apply strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to lead process improvements and optimize testing methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, QA teams, and operations to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced automation testing frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Advocate for and implement Agile testing practices, integrating automation seamlessly within Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments to support rapid delivery cycles.
  • Lead and actively participate in functional testing activities to ensure comprehensive test coverage, accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Stay informed about emerging testing technologies such as AI/ML-driven testing, scriptless automation, and continuous testing tools; evaluate and adopt suitable innovations.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of database systems (SQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.) and data validation techniques to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Identify testing risks early in the project lifecycle, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
  • Mentor, guide, and develop automation engineers and testers, cultivating a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and reports using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, demonstrating strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Identify gaps in testing processes, implement innovative solutions, value-adding practices, and develop best-in-class processes, IPs, and practices to enhance overall testing maturity.
