About The Position

The role involves working collaboratively with team members to enhance the deployment and access of services for developers, improve data movement across the platform, and automate operations to support future scalability. The position focuses on building and maintaining services that automate infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and serviceability while supporting other teams in utilizing shared resources effectively.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience developing applications or their deployment mechanisms, including testing, scaling, and monitoring.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) implementations.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and their primary services and configuration.
• Ability to define and explain initialisms like CDN, VPC, ASG, ECS, and S3 and how they work together in a cloud environment.
• Experience with implementing and managing security tools and services within AWS, such as Security Groups and AWS WAF, and familiarity with AWS Organizations and Service Control Policies (SCPs).
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as Terraform, Go, Python, Javascript, or Java (Preferred: Terraform, Go or Python).
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining services that automate our infrastructure in areas like cloud deployments, user access and management, and monitoring.
• Collaborating with and supporting other teams on how to build and mature their services to use shared resources provided by the infrastructure team.
