About The Position

The Software Engineer II position at Cummins Inc. is responsible for developing high-quality software solutions in a hybrid work environment. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Mulesoft Administration.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of API architecture and lifecycle management.
• Proficient in MuleSoft suite of products, including deployment and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix Administration and networking principles.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with containerization and AWS cloud provisioning.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as shell, ant, Perl, or Python.
• Familiarity with scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs and systems flow.
• Document and demonstrate solutions, including developing flow charts and layouts.
• Determine feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, and proposed solutions.
• Prepare and install solutions by designing system specifications and standards.
• Recommend state-of-the-art development tools and techniques.
• Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development issues.
• Define applications and their interfaces, and communicate requirements for interactions.
• Maintain strong relationships to deliver business value using Business Relationship Management practices.
