Software Engineer II [C2]

The Air C2 SW product teams develop Command and Control (C2) mission critical applications and leverage DevSecOps processes along with best industry practices to meet the threats of today and tomorrow. C2 Product team is hiring Software Engineer II to work onsite in Fullerton, CA.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) AND a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with Object Oriented Design and Development
- Experience in C# and/or Java application development
- Experience in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Experience with relational databases as part of a software solution
- Able to obtain program access after start
- Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance as and when required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively within large, cross-functional teams.
- Experience with modern web UI frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, or React, and a solid understanding component-based architecture.
- Experience with one or more scripting languages
- Experience with reactive programming paradigms and frameworks for building scalable, event-driven applications.
Responsibilities
- Perform as a contributor working as part of a high performing Software Product Team.
- Participate in software C2 software application design, implementation, and test.
- Collaborate in a cross-functional / Agile environment
- Travel OCONUS: Up to 25% per year
