About The Position

Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft, positioning itself as the financial technology platform of choice. The Integration Enablement team at Adyen builds products to help customers integrate fast and efficiently into Adyen's APIs and test their integration, including tools for surfacing integration quality and various simulators. This team works closely with customers and developers, and is at the forefront of evolving integration experiences, especially with the rise of AI and LLM agents. This engineering team is embedded within the Developer Experience group in the Customer Experience organization.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of experience with building things in JavaScript and solid experience in Vue.js.
  • Recognize yourself in the Adyen Formula: being open minded, having a proactive attitude, always trying to make it work while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
  • Actively share your knowledge and enthusiasm to develop yourself and your team.
  • Comfortable with asking and receiving constructive feedback from colleagues regularly.
  • Able to independently gather technical requirements and create a plan to execute those requirements.
  • Not allergic to backend code.
  • A strong team player, likes to connect and communicate in person with team members and other stakeholders to come to the best solution.
  • Available to travel to Amsterdam to our HQ 2 times a year.
  • Expected to come to the office at least three days per week due to the hybrid work model.
  • Able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

  • Primarily work on user interfaces for the team using VueJS to scale the business by providing the best possible user experience for product users.
  • Be responsible for the full life cycle of developments, including architecture, communicating with stakeholders (product owners, product designers, merchants etc), automated testing, iterating purposefully, and monitoring the impact of projects.
  • Collaborate with backend developers on API design and user flows.
  • Identify and improve parts of the platform to make it more consistent, robust and scalable.
  • Keep in sync with the larger frontend community, collaborate across streams and time zones, and contribute architecturally to core components.
