The Battle Management Software mission is to provide world class Radar and Command and Control (C2) Software for our customers’ wide array of Surveillance and Warning Systems. BMS S/w team in Ft. Wayne IN is looking to add a Software Engineer to their development team. We align to the core Agile and DevSecOps principles of collaborative operation across the entire value stream, delivering high-frequency, high-quality deployments to our customers.

Requirements

Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using C, C++, or Ada, or similar.
Experience with Scripting languages.
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Experience on XBR, AN/TPY-2, COBRA DANE, QEWR, UEWR, SRP or other current missile defense programs.
Experience working in Agile environments such as scrum, scrum at scale, SAFe and DevSecOps.
Potential to travel to customer site (up to 50%) for software build install and test.
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements.
Experience contributing to a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to difficult technical problems.
Experience with tools such as Atlassian Suite (e.g., Bitbucket/Artifactory, Confluence, Crucible, Fisheye, Jira), Jenkins, Eclipse, and Ansible.
Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous development environment; experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of Red Hat and Linux Operating Systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test software based on software trouble reports in an agile, collaborative environment, delivering build to site twice a year.
Participate in agile execution and continuous improvement.
Work collaboratively with systems and SI&T engineers to analyze, implement, and test system modification requests to the existing system baseline.
