Join our highly skilled Tools and Automation Team! Our team develops innovative solutions crucial to the monitoring and management of the Akamai Intelligent Platform. We believe collaboration and continuous improvement lead to the best solutions. As a Software Engineer II, you will work with a diverse group of cross-functional teams to optimize and enhance IT service delivery processes, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement using ServiceNow capabilities. The role involves staying current with ServiceNow trends, best practices, and new features, and translating business requirements into effective ServiceNow solutions.

  • Developing and enhancing ITSM processes including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, Service Catalog.
  • Developing and maintaining scripts, integrations, and APIs to extend ServiceNow's functionality and integrate with other systems.
  • Creating and maintaining workflows, business rules, UI policies, detailed technical specifications and documentation.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and automation using ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Presenting status updates to key stakeholders while participating in software design and project planning and monitoring its performance in production.
  • Have 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
  • Have ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in various modules.
  • Have good understanding of ITIL processes, IT service management concepts, and experience with the ServiceNow Customer Service Management module.
  • Possess experience in ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript, etc.), and integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
