Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Passionate about our mission: improving healthcare access and affordability for all.
  • Knowledge of React (state management, call backs, etc) and experience building component based UIs.
  • Curiosity for learning, being a self-starter who is eager to try new things.
  • Experience building frontend applications with a focus on modular design.
  • 2+ years of experience in a full-time software engineering role.
  • Ability to write clearly and document their ideas.
  • Passionate about writing high-quality code.
  • Experience making minor updates to existing APIs in a service-oriented system architecture.
  • Basic knowledge of API design necessary to draft contracts for frontend integration.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with backend languages such as Java or Kotlin.
  • Knowledge of multi-tenant enterprise web applications with a focus on scalability.
  • Experience integrating with RBAC administration systems to manage application content.
  • Experience excelling in a Healthcare startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a highly skilled team of engineers and health data experts.
  • Build innovative and beautiful data visualizations that illuminate the path towards higher quality care at lower cost.
  • Design schemas in partnership with the data engineers and health data experts that can quickly serve results and generate reports.
  • Build a well-tested, continuously-deployable, and high-quality codebase that supports developer velocity and exceptional reliability.
