About The Position

The Microsoft Azure Storage team is building Microsoft’s cloud storage solution, which is a massively scalable, highly distributed, and ubiquitously accessible storage system. This system is designed to scale out and serve the entire world, with tremendous growth and many Exabytes of data stored. The team is focused on designing and building systems for Zettabyte scale to support future demand growth. We are looking for a Software Engineer II - Azure Storage, who is passionate about distributed storage and building the platform that will power all of Azure Storage and distributed systems. The role involves working in a fast-paced team environment, solving challenges related to scale and reliability for a distributed system, and making high-impact changes on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Experience in software development, particularly in distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
