As a Software Engineer I at Citizens, you will collaborate with a talented team to develop innovative technology solutions that enhance consumer banking applications.   • Designing, modifying, developing, and implementing technology solutions.
  • Building modern, architecturally sound components, tools, and applications to meet mission-driven strategic business goals.
  • Participating in an Agile environment, adhering to best practices and collaborating effectively with teammates.
  • Infusing quality of service characteristics into distributed service-based frameworks to create or expand business or technical capabilities.
  • Contributing insights from prior experiences when considering design specifications.
  • 1-2 years of experience in software development, with a proven record of successfully launching banking commercial products.
  • 1-2 years of experience with collecting requirements, creating software designs, and developing efficient implementations.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Understanding of multiple programming languages such as Python3, Java, JavaScript, and C.
  • Proficiency in Bash scripting and Linux administration.
  • AWS cloud experience.
  • Experience with Oracle and MySQL databases.
  • Experience in the financial services industry, developing solutions for commercial banking.
  • Knowledge on Global Markets/Foreign Exchange.
  • Experience with WallStreet System (PRO IV).
  • AZURE/GCP or other cloud experience.
  • Familiarity with full-stack development.
  • Experience with CICD pipeline (CircleCI, Jenkins, or equivalent).
  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect.
  • Familiar with Autosys, ETL, Websphere, and API development.
